Position Summary: As the Field (Outside) Sales Representative you are responsible for increasing sales by developing relationships with prospective and existing customers. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven sales representative to generate leads and drive sales. The successful sales representative will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by continually meeting or exceeding sales targets. Reports to: VP of Operations and Sales Cultural Responsibilities: Treating all team members with respect and be an active contributor to building Colourifics culture Supporting Colourifics One Team mantra Maintain open dialogue to improve health, safety, and operational standards within the facility Job Specific Responsibilities: The responsibilities and accountabilities on the Field (Outside) Sales Representative include but are not limited to the following: Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales Evaluate customers needs and build productive long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales within a CRM system Maintain and expand client database Collaborating with the Marketing Director to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials Work closely with the VP Sales and Operations to ensure responsive customer communications as well as accuracy and responsiveness in processing new customers orders and quotes, and a seamless customer experience Communicate with new customers on quotes while processing job inquiries Work with the admin team to onboard new customers Prepare quotes for jobs for existing customers Work with key suppliers to request and negotiate pricing for powders Work with the Shipping/Receiving team and the Quality team to communicate the status of projects with customers as well and any job issues or changes Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales Report and provide feedback to VP of Operations and Sales using sales data (volume of new customer outreach, pipeline status of potential new customers, etc) Job Requirements: Candidates with strong existing relationships within the metal coating, metal product, and/or metal extruding industries will be prioritized Minimum 5 years B2B proven outside sales experience Computer proficiency required Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Highly organized Strong interpersonal skills including communication and negotiation Valid drivers license Bachelor''s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field is preferred |
