<p><strong>CV Technologist Asheville, NC</strong></p> <p><strong>SHIFT</strong>: Full- time Days &amp; Nights (rotating weekends)<br /> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>Assists inpatient treatment by monitoring, circulating and scrubbing under the direction of a Cardiologist and/or Physician&#39;s Assistant. Supports the department by ensuring the appropriate functioning of the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs, collecting and documenting information, and educating patients and their families.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Education</strong></p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree in Science, Applied Science, Respiratory or Radiology</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<strong>Required License</strong></p> <ul> <li>ACLS, RPT, or RT&#39;; RCIS/RCES credentialed must obtain two years after employment begins.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<strong>Preferred License</strong></p> <ul> <li>Certification in Invasive Cardiology</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<strong>Required Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Two years&rsquo; experience in an acute care setting and demonstrated experience in hemodynamic and cardiac monitoring</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<strong>Preferred Experience</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of two years&rsquo; experience in an interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Information</strong> <ul> <li>Must have radiology or cardiac cath lab&nbsp;experience</li> <li>On average 4 cases daily</li> <li>1 in 3 call rotation</li> <li>Shared role, will support vascular surgery and Radiology</li> <li>No PEDS in the Cath lab</li> <li>The largest CV program for HCA, with brand new equipment since October</li> <li>Fast-paced facility</li> <li>Will consider candidates with strong experience radiology, cath labs, hybrid ORs or IR in an acute care setting</li> <li>Must have RCES certification but will consider RCIS certificate&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be comfortable performing complex procedures with physicians</li> <li>Must be comfortable with invasive imaging&nbsp;technology and cath lab procedures</li> <li><strong>NEW GRADS WILL BE CONSIDERED ONLY IF CANDIDATE WAS ENROLLED IN A PROGRAM WITH AN EP CONCENTRATION</strong></li> </ul> <br /> <strong>BENEFITS</strong> <p>Sign-on bonus available up to $5K with a 2-year commitment</p>
