The Laborer would work within experienced teams on routine tasks including housekeeping, equipment operation, and maintenance. Completion of tasks assigned by Mine Manager or Operations Supervisor Routine housekeeping with hand shovel, skid steer, mini excavator. Operation of earth moving vehicles Basic maintenance Compensation: Hourly wage will reflect experience and knowledge Shift: Monday to Friday 8 hour days or afternoon rotating shifts Overtime as required. Essential Qualifications and Skills: Strong safety mindset Clear communication Ability to work in a team and independently Ability to lift, carry, climb, and kneel with varying weight Ability to work outdoors, at height, and in inclement weather Beneficial Qualifications and Skills: Mechanical aptitude is an asset Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is an asset Experience operating hand power tools is an asset Experience operating Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) is an asset Willing to work overtime and shifts when needed including Saturdays/Sundays As part of our dedicated focus on the health and safety of all employees, a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check, may be required.
