Scope of the Position: Reporting to the IT Director, Business Systems & Development, The Supervisor of the Business Systems Analyst Team is responsible for managing the Business Systems Team within Texcan. Our Business Systems Team supports the production of Corporate Application Systems within the company including ERP, CRM, Power Apps, Power BI, Congos, etc. The supervisor also supports the coordination and delegation of project tasks, service requests, incidents, release management and software development. Major Responsibilities Supervise the team, assign, and coordinate tasks to team members to achieve project and operational objectives. Communicate and delegate objectives, upgrade, and support activities within the IT teams and related business units. Coordinate activities, meetings, team members, tasks related to the development and implementation lifecycle of projects. Mentor team members, create opportunities for personal development. Assist the IT Director for employee reviews, recruitment, provide positive and constructive feedback where needed. Establish and maintain development standards and well-structured processes aligned with IT best practices. Participate in planning of projects, strategy, review and approval of specification documents, training, and testing scripts. Coordinate and collect input for new request, business requirements, analysis and synthesis. Coordinate and execute testing strategy, building and executing of test scripts. Review, provide feedback and approve all project specification documents, instructional job aids, etc. Develop in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the business is required to be able to effectively guide, suggest, implement, monitor, and execute system requirements and enhancements Education & Training Post-Secondary IT related diploma preferred Experience 5 + years experience with ERP and WMS systems preferably with distribution company Experience within a distribution environment preferred Experience in Operations/Warehousing is an asset 3 - 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role 3+ years of experience with project change management Advanced level of expertise in the entire Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, Dynamics, PowerPoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Teams, Planner, Sharepoint, etc.) MySQL experience and report writing capabilities an asset We are interested in knowing more about you!
