Job Title: Sales Development Representative Company: EastCode Blockchain Labs Location: Charlottetown, PE (in-person only) 6-month contract Experience level: Entry level (no experience required). There are tips to make your application more successful. EastCode Blockchain Labs is seeking an energetic and conscientious individual to fill the role of Sales Development Representative (SDR). An understanding of Web3, cryptocurrency, and blockchain is not required but a strong willingness to learn is needed. EastCode Blockchain Labs is a cutting-edge blockchain technology company specializing in blockchain solutions primarily for the cryptocurrency industry. As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities, establishing connections with potential clients, and contributing to the overall growth of EastCode Blockchain Labs. Youll report to the Director of Business Development and work closely with all members of the sales team. Responsibilities: Prospecting and Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify potential clients and target markets in line with EastCode Blockchain Labs'' solutions. Utilize various channels, including social media, industry events, cold calling, email campaigns, and other lead generation techniques to build a pipeline of qualified leads. Engage with prospective clients, initiate conversations, and schedule introductory calls or meetings for the sales team. Qualification and Discovery: Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, challenges, and objectives. Conduct initial discovery calls to gather information about potential clients'' requirements and determine the fit with EastCode Blockchain Labs'' offerings. Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of EastCode Blockchain Labs'' solutions to potential clients. Relationship Building and Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, nurturing them through regular communication and follow-ups. Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure the smooth handover of qualified leads for further progression in the sales cycle. Eventually attend industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to expand the company''s reach and establish EastCode Blockchain Labs as a trusted industry leader. Sales Support: Assist in the development and refinement of sales collateral, presentations, and other sales-related materials. Provide input and feedback to the marketing team regarding the effectiveness of lead generation campaigns and strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to gather insights and stay updated on product enhancements and industry trends. Reporting and Metrics: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system. Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to optimize sales strategies. Requirements: Previous experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar sales role is preferred. Strong knowledge and understanding (or willingness to learn) of blockchain technology and its applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools. Compensation: The salary range is $30k - $35k depending on previous experience. Commission and bonuses are provided based on the number of leads qualified and deals closed by the sales team.
