<p><strong>&nbsp;RN - Critical Care - Sioux Falls</strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Length of Assignment:</strong> 8 Weeks<br /> <br /> <strong>Shift: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Day/Night Rotating.</li> <li>12 HR D/N; 36 HR with every other weekend and holiday.</li> <li>The employee will not work alone, however is required to be on call if census dictates, weekends are required.</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Required Experience:</strong> <ul> <li>Prior critical care experience.</li> <li>Hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive medication titration, management of ventilated patietns, recovery for procedures/surgicals, conscious sedation.</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Required Licensure/Certification:</strong> <ul> <li>ACLS and TNCC</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Equipment utilized in the unit/dept:</strong><br /> Avea vents, Philips monitors, Hospira pums, EPIC based EMR, Artic Sun, Datascope IABP<br /> <br /> <strong>Floating to over units/departments:</strong><br /> Would prefer willingness to float to other department with orientation based on their skill sets<br /> <br /> <strong>Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept:</strong><br /> 39 icu beds in three locations (CC2 - 12 beds, CC3 - 15 beds, CCW - 12 beds)<br /> <br /> <strong>Nurse to patient ratio of this unit:</strong><br /> 1:2 primarily with some 1:1 with higher acuity and 1:3 when holding overflow or patient trasfer status<br /> <br /> <strong>Job Summary:</strong><br /> General nursing orientation via CLI, computer based training and test outs for competency, EMR training, department specific training based on assessment of need and preceptor shifts&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;
