<p><strong>Registered Nurse RN, Acute Dialysis<br /> Sioux Falls , SD, 57117</strong><br /> <strong>Department/Unit:</strong> Acute Dialysis<br /> <br /> <strong>Length of Assignment: </strong>8 Weeks<br /> <br /> <strong>Shift: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Variable shifts</li> <li>8/10/12 hour shifts with every other weekend.&nbsp;</li> <li>36 guaranteed/40 scheduled.&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;Staff work independently when providing a bedside treatment.<br /> &nbsp;</li> </ul> <strong>Floating to over units/departments: </strong>Yes<br /> <br /> <strong>Required Experience:</strong> <ul> <li>2 years previous Acute Dialysis experience required.</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Licenses/Certifications:</strong> <ul> <li>Active SD or Compact RN License</li> <li>BLS</li> <li>ACLS (preferred)</li> <li>Dialysis Cert (preferred)</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>General Job Duties:</strong><br /> Responsible for dialyss treatments for patinets hospitalized. &nbsp;This would include: HD treatments in the Acute Dialysis Dept and at the bedside in the patients room. &nbsp;Also provide bedside HD treatments at Select Speciality Hospital. Also CRRT via Prismaflex &ndash; set-up and maintainence.<br /> <br /> <strong>Equipment utilized in the unit/dept:&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong> <ul> <li>EPIC charting, BBraun &amp; Fresenius dialysis machines, portable RO systems, Acudose medication dispensing, Baxter PD cycler, Prismaflex</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept:</strong> <ul> <li>9 bed Acute Dialysis Unit</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)</strong> <ul> <li>1 nurse to 2 patients when completing treatments in the Acute Dialysis Unit. &nbsp;</li> <li>1 nurse to 1 patient ratio when completing a treatment at the bedside.</li> </ul> <br /> <br /> &nbsp;
