<p>The Closer is responsible for the accurate and timely closing of a mortgage loan.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for entering accurate and timely loan information into the Client&rsquo;s processing system.</li> <li>Prepare and review closing package based on requirements and guidelines.</li> <li>Create closing package and ensure that the Client&rsquo;s customer loan or settlement fees are within tolerance and meet Client compliance.</li> <li>Communicate to Relationship Managers the required conditions and perform the cash to close call and set closing expectations.</li> <li>Confirm that the settlement funds have been disbursed timely and that the closing took place as per the stipulated timelines.</li> <li>Maintain a standard of customer service comparable to leading standards of Client&rsquo;s industry while supporting the team goals.</li> <li>Follows up on any deficiency requests by Shipping and Post-Closing to ensure timely procedure for loan funding.</li> <li>Maintain a knowledge of industry regulations and changes.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years of residential mortgage loan processing/closing experience required.</li> <li>Must have High School Diploma/GED.</li> <li>Applicant must be detail oriented and be able to multi task.</li> <li>Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Must possess a superior customer service focus.</li> <li>Must be able to prioritize in order to meet loan closing deadlines.</li> </ul> <p>Must be able to work independently on processing various loan applications</p>
