<p><strong>Job Responsibility/Accountability</strong><br /> <strong>Customer Sales</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide excellent customer service while maximizing the dealerships parts sales.</li> <li>Receive, verify and stock incoming shipments</li> <li>Pull customer orders, transfers, returns and ship accordingly.</li> <li>Locate needed parts quickly and efficiently.</li> <li>Maintain and inventory shipping and warehouse supplies</li> <li>Clearly communicate parts pricing and expected arrival dates.</li> <li>Inform customers immediately when expected parts arrival dates have changed or delays are expected</li> <li>Communicate all problems, shortages or delays to the branch parts manager and or general parts manager and customers as soon as possible.</li> <li>Maintain the parts showroom in a clean, properly stocked and orderly manner. Update posters and flyers as needed.</li> <li>Follow all company and branch policies concerning invoicing, stocking and credits.</li> <li>Must be able to follow directions from supervisor.</li> <li>Must be able to interact efficiently and have a high level of cooperation with co-workers.</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Cost Control</strong> <ul> <li>Follow company guidelines when establishing parts selling prices.</li> <li>Report and maintain list of lost sale information.</li> <li>Ensure that all freight, restocking and or miscellaneous charges are properly charged as per company policy.</li> <li>Review all requests for Emergency Orders with parts manager prior to placing orders.</li> <li>Perform parts cycle counts and other inventory control.</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Training</strong> <ul> <li>Participate and utilize all parts training when available.</li> <li>Maintain current knowledge of products represented by the dealership.</li> <li>Actively participate in sales improvement training.</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Minimum Skills and Qualifications</strong> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Valid drivers license and a safe driving record.</li> <li>Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test and Criminal Background check</li> <li>Written and verbal communication skills, ability to demonstrate and state facts to all contact people.</li> <li>Understanding of PC hardware/Software (Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint) including all manufacturers web portals.</li> <li>Understanding of Manufacturers products (specifications, applications, operations and structures ).</li> <li>Understanding of Manufacturers Parts Policy and Procedure Manuals.</li> <li>Detail oriented, organized and responsible.</li> <li>May be required to drive a company vehicle to pick up or deliver parts (less than 10% of the time)</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Physical Requirements</strong> <ul> <li>May be required to pass a DOT physical for company pool truck driving responsibilities</li> <li>Required to stand for long periods and manage stress in a fast paced environment.</li> <li>Required to use computers and office machines.</li> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs and ladders, lift 75 pounds regularly and repeatedly and use hands.</li> <li>Must have the ability to enter, exit and inspect construction equipment.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
