Shipping and Receiving Associate

<p>Pridestaff is partnering&nbsp;with a facility located in Peachtree City, GA looking to hire a Warehouse Associate to work in their Shipping Department.&nbsp; This will be a 1st shift position.</p> <ul> <li>Unpack electronic product and distribute items to the correct departments.&nbsp; Make sure incoming product is not damaged and meet company standards.</li> <li>Package and ship units on a daily basis.</li> <li>Keep shipping and receiving area clean and safe.</li> <li>Keep packages sorted between various carriers (FedEx, UPS, etc.)</li> <li>Load and unload trucks.</li> <li>Be sure that all packages shipped meet company stellar standards.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other details:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written</li> <li>Must have basic computer skills.&nbsp; Must have detailed record-keeping skills.&nbsp; Must be able to follow several packaging and shipping procedures.</li> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and climb.</li> <li>Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pound without assistance on a regular basis.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Pay:</strong></p> <ul> <li>$11.00/hr</li> </ul> <p><strong>Hours:</strong></p> <ul> <li>1st shift</li> <li>8:30am - 5:30pm</li> </ul>
