To be successful in this role, you will have to:</p> <ul> <li>Successfully troubleshoot technical issues related to SQL server and connected technologies;</li> <li>Maintaining and implementing new data feeds between Ash and our partners;</li> <li>Support reporting requests both internally and externally with our customers;</li> <li>Assist in implementation of data warehouse project;</li> <li>Update database schema and core objects, such as stored procedures and views, to support enhancements to our business systems;</li> <li>Handle operational data requests received by the team;</li> <li>Offer ideas for improvement to the operations of the team or business operations based on requests received;</li> <li>Help complete technical activities related to onboarding new business relationships and acquisitions.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You Need</strong></p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field, or equivalent experience;</li> <li>A minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience working on a database team or on database projects;</li> <li>Proven development experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database platform;</li> <li>Exposure to Azure Data Services or related cloud technologies;</li> <li>Ability to create and maintain database objects including but not limited to tables, views, indexes, user-defined functions, stored procedures, triggers, constraints, custom data types, etc.;</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of database architectural concepts including but not limited to creating relational models, data segmentation/partitioning, implementing data security models, etc.;</li> <li>Prior experience with the following: <ul> <li>Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services or similar enterprise reporting tool;</li> <li>Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services or similar ETL tool;</li> <li>Creation and/or management of data feeds utilizing both structured (ex XML/JSON) and flat schemas (ex CSV,TXT,XLSX) across a wide range of electronic delivery mechanisms (ex API/ASMX/SFTP)</li> <li>Database Administration concepts including database backup/restore, SQL Agent job creation/maintenance, managing security roles and permissions etc.</li> <li>Data Migration experience between applications or systems is a plus</li> <li>Database performance optimizations including index tuning, execution plan analysis and troubleshooting</li> <li>Data warehouse implementations</li> </ul> </li> <li>Ideally you are located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, or open to relocating here.</li> </
