<p>Cadogan Tate New York Limited is recruiting for Art Handlers to work in our warehouse. The essential function of this role is to handle and pack artworks, antiquities and fine furniture, working with the crating department.This would involve accurate condition reporting of the pieces being handled.<br /> &nbsp;</p> <p>The successful candidate will have the following attributes:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of two years of related work experience in a warehouse</li> <li>A knowledge of proper handling of art, antiquities and high-end furniture using the appropriate materials and methods for packaging, loading and securing for safe transport.</li> <li>A desire to work as part of a team and wants the company to be successful.</li> <li>Familiarity with paperwork; Bills of Lading, Condition Reports, Inventory, etc.</li> <li>Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English</li> <li>Must be able to lift 70 lbs</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a busy environment</li> <li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li> </ul> <p>This a full-time position, working Monday through Friday. The company provides competitive hourly pay and excellent benefits. Benefits will become available to successful full-time candidates upon completion of the probationary period. The candidate must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the U.S.</p>
