<p>West End Center is looking to hire a part-time (about 12 hours) reading teacher immediately.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The reading teacher is responsible for teaching reading to elementary school aged children at West End Center year round in the After School Program and Summer Programs. Essential Functions: The teacher will develop lesson plans in alignment with standards of learning using the AfterSchool KidzLit program, teach reading to elementary students, and track outcomes and students&rsquo; progress and make program changes accordingly. The teacher will also consult with educational services director regarding additional needed support. The teacher collaborate with partners including Roanoke City Public Libraries.</p>
