<p><strong>Role: Manufacturing Engineer (PCB) :: 22208</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: Puerto Rico, USA</strong><br /> <strong><strong>Type of Hire: Full Time Job</strong></strong></p> <p><strong>Required:</strong></p> <p>Manufacturing Engineer to complete the SMT Circuit Card Assembly implementation for a group of 50 PCB assemblies containing an average of 8 manufacturing processes among a variety of 32 different equipment platforms. Onsite manufacturing engineering, shop floor operations support, and/or clerical support activities include:</p> <p>- Provide support for machine programming<br /> - Provide support for Manufacturing Technology projects<br /> - Project management<br /> - Manufacturing equipment programming<br /> - SAP support<br /> - Solumina plans creation/modification<br /> - Manufacturing progress reports<br /> - First article inspection (FAI) activities<br /> - Non-conforming Material (NCM) dispositions with Root Cause Correction Actions (RCCA) implementations<br /> - Technical planning activities and materials coordination<br /> - Manufacturing tools creation and/or duplication as needed. These activities can also include the design and procurement of such tools<br /> - Rework and repair quality dispositions<br /> - Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation<br /> - Proper documentation write-offs<br /> - Using AEGIS to create job instruction sheets<br /> - Development, coordination and conducting of technical reliability studies<br /> - Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) risk assessments<br /> - Evaluation of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs<br /> - Recommendation of design, manufacturing and test methods through Statistical Process Control (SPC) procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability<br /> - Compilation and analysis of performance reports<br /> - Investigation and analysis of relevant variables potentially affecting product and process<br /> - Possible development of mathematical models and data analysis to identify units, batches, or processes posing excessive failure risks and/or trends<br /> - Possible determination of units and/or batches requiring environmental testing, and specification of minimum numbers in samples to obtain statistically valid data<br /> - Coordination on material availability to support validations and future SMT Circuit Card Assembly production plan, including the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, safety guidelines and quality controls<br /> - Participate in the analysis and design of all utilities required by the SMT Circuit Card Assembly, including all related to Environmental Health and Safety permits, assuring 100% compliance<br /> - Proper documentation and maintenance of all conducted activities is critical and will require buyoffs from subject matter experts (SMEs) and management and will include preparation of high level executive summaries to be presented with high frequency during all phases of the project<br /> - Off-line programming for SPI, AOI, Test Equipment, Hot-Melt System<br /> - Communicate in English and Spanish</p> <p><strong>Primary Skills include</strong><br /> - SAP support<br /> - Solumina plans creation/modification<br /> - First article inspection (FAI) activities<br /> - Non-conforming Material (NCM) dispositions with Root Cause Correction Actions (RCCA) implementations<br /> - Rework and repair quality dispositions<br /> - Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation<br /> - Proper documentation write-offs<br /> - Using AEGIS to create job instruction sheets<br /> - Development, coordination and conducting of technical reliability studies<br /> - Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) risk assessments<br /> - Evaluation of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs<br /> - Recommendation of design, manufacturing and test methods through Statistical Process Control (SPC) procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability<br /> - Compilation and analysis of performance reports<br /> - Investigation and analysis of relevant variables potentially affecting product and process<br /> - Possible development of mathematical models and data analysis to identify units, batches, or processes posing excessive failure risks and/or trends</p> <p><strong>Secondary Skills:</strong></p> <p>Soft Skills<br /> &bull; Communicate in both English and Spanish is preferred<br /> &bull; Written/verbal communication<br /> &bull; Ability to multitask<br /> &bull; Motivated<br /> &bull; Ability to act with a sense of urgency<br /> &bull; Demonstrated ability to work well in collaborative environment and to communicate effectively in cross-functional teams<br /> &bull; Excellent analytical skills<br /> &bull; Self directed/motivated</p>
