<p>A <strong>Guest Relations Manager- Parking</strong> who is a member of the Guest Relations team responsible for the overall performance of the parking operations. &nbsp;As the Parking Manager, your focus will be on ensuring adherence to guest service standards, focusing on improving the guest experience for all Zoo guests. Implements internal control policies and procedures, and accounting for all parking revenue.</p> <p><strong><em>What You Will Do: </em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage all aspects of the parking operations, including scheduling and payroll processing, customer service, staff training, signage/information (onsite and online) lot ticketing and revenue collection and control, and proper lot access control in accordance with established internal control standards.</li> <li>Hire, orient, train, schedule, supervise and evaluate full-time and seasonal employees. Council and coach staff; document infractions and address performance in an objective, consistent and timely manner.</li> <li>Enforce operational standards for opening and closing of lots, guest admission into lots, and traffic coordination. Take an active role in putting standards into action daily, based on actual/predicted attendance volume, traffic conditions, and other conditions that may affect parking operations.</li> <li>Maintain, analyze and communicate revenue and other vital statistics.</li> <li>Coordinate the arrival, parking and departure of school buses during the spring, summer and fall seasons.</li> <li>Maximize the efficiency/throughput of each lot, to ensure the best possible parking experience for guests, as well as the most cost-effective operation.</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>What This Role Requires:</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and minimum of 5 years relevant work experience and at least 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably at a high volume recreation or tourist destination.</li> <li>Demonstrated strong management skills and experience with skilled and unskilled temporary workforce.</li> <li>Ability to balance multiple projects, meet deadlines and communicate effectively in a frequently flexible and quick moving environment.</li> <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule during the season which will include weekends, some holidays and occasional nights and early mornings.
