<p><strong>Join our premier team!</strong></p> <p><br /> <strong>Why Work Here?</strong></p> <p>&ldquo;Outstanding benefits including Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Insurance, 401K, Short Term and Long Term disability, Life Insurance, Vacation and a great opportunity to make an impact on the community we serve&rdquo;</p> <p><br /> <strong>Medical Assistant </strong></p> <p>Pediatric Associates, the largest privately owned single specialty group practice, is seeking a dynamic Part Time After Hours Medical Assistant to&nbsp;work in our Pembroke Pines office.&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Manage patient care through an electronic or paper environment.</li> <li>Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.</li> <li>Measure and record patients&#39; vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.</li> <li>Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.</li> <li>Obtain brief summary of patient complaint. Document any immunizations needed. Read previous visits to obtain follow-up plan as needed.</li> <li>Assist doctors in any necessary procedures such as giving injections or removing sutures.</li> <li>Working as a team with nursing and front office staff for optimal patient care.</li> <li>Having the knowledge and awareness of medications and supplies on crash cart.</li> <li>Administering immunizations and medicine injections.</li> <li>Other various duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Work Schedule:&nbsp;Part Time </strong><br /> Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:00pm - 9:00pm and Sunday 8:00am - 8:00pm<br /> or<br /> Monday, Thursday, Friday 4:00pm - 9:00pm and Saturday 8:00am - 8:00pm</p> <p><br /> <strong>Education: High</strong> School Diploma or equivalent. Medical foreign doctors must have a Bachelor of Science degree in General Medicine from a regionally accredited university or equivalent.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Licensure/ Certification: </strong>MA Diploma, Registered Medical Assistant Certification or CCMA, and active BLS/CPR certification required.</p> <p>*Upon hire, and for the duration of the employment period driver&rsquo;s license must be active and valid.*</p> <p><br /> <strong>Experience: </strong>Prefer one-year work experience in a medical office setting.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Company Overview: </strong>Our mission is to deliver the best and most comprehensive medical services to you and your family.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Benefits: Pediatric</strong> Associates offers a flexible, competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the needs of our employees and their families.
