<p>The <strong>Registered Clinical Dietitian</strong> is responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Planning regular and modified diets for all age patients as prescribed by Medical Staff</li> <li>Routinely visiting and counseling patients with nutritional needs</li> <li>Participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs</li> <li>Assisting with the maintenance of the department&#39;s Quality Assessment &amp; Quality Improvement plan</li> <li> <p>The <strong>Registered Clinical Dietitian</strong> must:</p> </li> <li>Be registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration</li> <li>Be licensed by the State in which the facility is located, to practice Dietetics</li> <li>Possess a B.S. degree in Food/Nutrition, General dietetics and/or Dietetics</li> <li>Be registration eligible through the American Dietetic Association</li> <li>Three years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred</li> <li>Rehabilitation experience is a&nbsp;plus</li> </ul>
