Milieu is hiring Awake Residential Night Workers for Full Time, Part Time, and Casual positions in Vancouver, Richmond, and Mission.

Position:

We are seeking permanent employees who are responsible for providing adequate support and safety during the graveyard shift. All employees will be provided with paid training for positive behavior support, MANDT, and/or CORE.

This is a unionized position with the BCGEU grid 6. The pay range we are offering is $19.66-$22.90 with benefit eligibility and a Pension Plan for any permanent position of 20+ hours.

Job summary:

Awake Residential Night Worker (ARNW) provides support to individuals and ensures their well-being and safety during the night hours. ARNW also maintains health and safety standards as well as attends to the physical, emotional, and medical needs of the individuals. In addition, ARNW will apply their knowledge from positive behavior support training to provide stabilization and consistent guidance for the individuals.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Secondary school diploma
  • A minimum of 6 months experience working in social services/community living or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Negative TB test Clearance
  • Food Safe Certification
  • Clear Health Certificate
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Mandt Certification (Available training upon successful application)
  • Ministry of Children and Family Development Clearance
  • Criminal Record Check for Children and Vulnerable Adults (Provincial)
