The Client Our client believes there should be a place for friends and family to spend quality time together, share good home cooked plates and great conversations. The business is privately owned and consists of a 120-seater full service restaurant and 2 x express outlets. The Role This role is not for the faint hearted, you will be expected to work collaboratively with your team on the ground. You will work to inspire and engage your direct reports across the sites to deliver an outstanding experience for customers. You will know the ins and outs of restaurant operations and work to create and achieve efficiencies in the kitchen and front of house in addition to achieving business goals and budgets. Directly reporting to the owner of the business, it is expected that you are engaged with the vision of the owner and support in setting business goals and be instrumental in planning and implementing operational strategies to grow the business. You You meet the following criteria to be considered for the role:

  • Must be flexible and nimble this is not a 9 to 5 role. (closed on Mondays)
  • Strong business and financial acumen monthly data and analysis reporting to the owner of the business.
  • Must have solid experience and be accountable for growing sales and creating efficiencies in-store.
  • Must have experience in KPI setting for Direct Reports.
  • Must be willing to lead by example and be operational when required as part of the team.
  • Have worked in a busy trading environment where you have implemented first class operations and processes to create efficiencies within the business.
  • Have owned or operated a restaurant or a caf in the last 5 years.
  • Have managed a team of staff and created an excellent working culture.
  • Passion for food safety and compliance.
  • Goal orientated and able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a love for people and food.

  • $80,000 - $85,000 + Super.
