CAFE ALLROUNDER/BARISTA Cafe in Gerringong seeks hospitality professionals who are experienced cafe allrounders with top class barista skills. If you have an excellent work ethic and attitude, love coffee, want to work in a cafe which specialises in award-winning specialty coffees and have a commitment and passion for always producing quality coffees and great customer service, we want to hear from you. To be considered for this role you absolutely MUST have: excellent barista skills; experience in all areas of cafe work including food preparation (note no cooking skills required) and a willingness to do all jobs required; excellent communication skills; superior customer service skills; a friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy working as part of a team but capable of working autonomously. Punctuality, diligence, can-do attitude and the ability to work without constant supervision is vital. Applicants must be available to work morning, afternoon and weekend shifts as the cafe operates seven (7) days a week from 6 am to 4 pm. Duties also include: Taking orders from customers Preparing and serving food and beverages Operating a computerised cash register Clearing and cleaning tables Replenishing all stock Maintaining a clean and tidy environment at all times in the cafe and preparation areas Cleaning of the caf, kitchen, work areas, bathroom and toilet Open and close of the cafe Caf hours are from 6.00 am 4 pm, 7 days a week. Job Type: Casual Pay: Casual award rates depending on age. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Please be advised casual staff are required to be available to work 7 days a week from 6 am to 4 pm.
