Job Description:

 

Teradata Data Modelling is mandatory.

                                                                    

A day in the life...

 

·         Design and develop Conceptual and Logical data models by working
closely with

·         business users and subject matter experts across multiple domains,
e.g. merchandising,

·         supply chain, marketing, customer care, credit, etc.

·         Design and develop Physical Data Models for Teradata MPP databases

·         Develop, document and cross-train others on advanced SQL queries

·         Prototype and develop scalable, highly performant data structures
to support aggregations

·         and multi-dimensional analytics

·         Ability to work with Business Analysts, Product and Program
Managers, Data Scientists

·         and other stake holders.

·         Works with a larger team to drive to resolution on complex
engineering problems.

·         Viewed as a trusted engineering resource.

·         Makes decisions which require understanding of both internal and
external impacts to

·         team/project.

 

You own this if you have

·         5+ years of experience in large scale software 

·         5+ years of experience in Dimensional Modeling

·         5+ years of experience with Teradata MPP Databases, SQL and
performance optimization techniques such as Partitioning, Join Indexes,
Aggregated Join Indexes, etc. 

       Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in CS, Engineering or equivalent
