Waikiki Health is recruiting for a full time IT Service Desk Technician (ITSDT). The IT Service Desk Technician will provide remote and on-site technology support, consult, and troubleshooting throughout the organization including the following sites: Ohua, Makahiki, PATH, Shelter, and Youth Outreach. The ITSDT is one of the first points of contact for the Director of Information Technology, management, staff, and external contractors.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• The primary responsibility is user support and superb internal and external customer service; being present and visible in the work area(s); and ensure users obtain the requested technical assistance.
• Responds to questions from callers; remotely assist users with technology problems onsite, on outreach, and at satellite clinics.
• Simulates and recreates user issues to resolve operational difficulties.
• Recommends system modifications, if required, to reduce user problems.
• Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains WH’s electronic equipment including but not limited to: Laptops, desktops, phones, fax machines, printers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Associate's degree in information technology or a related field and/or two (2) years of related experience required
• CompTIA A+, Network+, and/or Security+ certifications (preferred)
• Hands on technical background in the computer system, general networking, and software/hardware troubleshooting.
• Must be able to learn and support new and quickly changing technologies.
• Ability to stay organized and keep up with open and closed service desk requests.
• Ability to research solutions or information regarding technical issues.
• Ability to work under pressure or stressful situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
