ETL Engineer

Position: ETL Engineer 

Location: Remote

Duration: Contract

Experience: 9+ years


? Develop complex Informatica ETL mappings and workflows extracting data from
various heterogeneous source systems like Flat files, XML, Oracle, SQL Server
and Web services

? Create reusable transformations, mapplets, workflows, worklets using
Informatica PowerCenter     

? implementing versioning of the ETL repository and supporting code as
necessary

? Performance tuning as needed

Preferred skills:

? Bachelor?s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related
field.

? Extensive knowledge of coding languages, including Java, XML, and SQL.

? Proficiency in warehousing architecture techniques, including MOLAP, ROLAP,
ODS, DM, and EDW.

? Proven work experience as an ETL developer.

? Strong project management skills.

? Ability to analyze a company?s big-picture data needs.

? Clear communication skills.

? Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
