PocketDoctor, Inc., is a virtual care platform, it connects patients and doctors online easier and faster. It's like Uber, only in the field of telemedicine. Telemedicine users have been waiting for this for a long time. We are looking for doctors certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or pediatrics. Opportunities are available all over the country.
Our general medicine doctors work remotely, using phone or video calls to consult with our members seeking help for minor acute illnesses. As an independent contractor, you can either add to your current clinical practice or create an entire telemedicine practice depending on the state(s) in which you are licensed.
What we offer:
• PocketDoctor doctors include telemedicine in their practice to help more patients access affordable and quality medical care. We offer a convenient way to increase your income without additional overhead costs from anywhere at any time.
• Registered members using our services come from health insurance plans, employers, hospitals, and trade unions. Each participant must register in the PocketDoctor system and draw up an electronic medical record for your consideration before the consultation.
• Common diseases we treat include cold/flu symptoms, bronchitis, allergies, sinusitis, and UTIs. We offer strict clinical guidelines on our platform, as well as the necessary training before receiving consultations.
• We ask you to take a minimum of 20 hours per month, but the days/hours are flexible depending on your schedule. We offer services 24/7 365 days a year.
• An accessible and easy-to-use telemedicine platform via the internet or in our mobile app.
• Simple documentation requirements using our proprietary software.
Minimum Qualification:
• The board is certified in IM, FM, EM, or Peds (ABMS or AOA)
• Have a valid medical license
• Have an active federal certificate/DEA number
• Availability of 20 hours per month
• No more than one open statement of negligence
• No complaints about the open licensing board and the lack of trial or limited licensing
• Comfortable with technology and experience with telemedicine
• Should be available for both telephone and video consultations
