Devops Operations EngineerQualifications and Skills - The Dev Ops Engineer
will be responsible for troubleshooting critical production issues across
the platform (Weblogic, RHEL, Oracle) and applications (AppDynamics,
Splunk, Java, Python)- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a DevOps,
TechOps, or Site Reliability Engineering role at a technology firm- At
least 5 years of operating production systems- Solid working knowledge
of SQL- Solid understanding of Networking- Solid working knowledge
of AppDynamics Monitoring tool- Solid working knowledge of Grafana tool-
Ability to learn new technologies in-depth.- Continuously push the
production standard forward and develop a customer-centric culture and
strong production processes within the company.- Provide technical
solutions for alerts and incoming escalated tickets from our customers,
including extensive troubleshooting and root cause assessment.- Find
workarounds and solutions for technical challenges ? doing whatever it
takes for the customer to get the best service out of our product.-
Knowledge of systems administration, software development, scripting and
building automation tools, and a thorough understanding of the TCP/IP stack
and the Unix environment are a must.- 1. Familiarity with ITIL/DEVOPS/SRE
principals.- 2. Familiar with some or more of the following technologies:
JIRA, Hive, HBase, Spark, Hadoop, Java, Javascript, BigData systems.- 3.
Experience in troubleshooting software and systems in a distributed,
internet-scale Linux environment- 4. Excellent problem solving and thought
leadership skills.- 5. Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work
independently with vague requirements.- 6. Team attitude with strong verbal
and written communication skills.Education and Experience Requirements - A
bachelor?s degree in engineering or a related field- [5-8] years of
experience in engineer operations
