Assistant Controller (Finance / Technology) REMOTE must live in PST or MST

We are looking for an Assistant Controller who will perform various financial and accounting-related tasks. Candidate should be self-motivated and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This role requires strong analytical abilities and a foundational knowledge of accounting principles. The
Assistant Controller will report to the VP-Finance and must be a team player with a positive attitude and a desire to help the team be successful.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 8-12+ years experience as well as 3-5+ years in an accounting leadership position
Experience at one of the Big 4/comparable as well as in a high-tech, growth stage environment with scaling experience
A CPA license is strongly preferred.
ERP experience – strong preference to have prior exposure to Sage Intacct.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP with expertise in internal controls and technical accounting, particularly software license revenue recognition
Familiarity with local, state, federal, and international tax regulation
Experience with managing international entities
The ability to explain financial issues or concepts to a non-financial audience
Solid judgment and integrity
A self-starter, detail-oriented, and efficient
A background in finance leadership experience in a complex multinational organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional team leadership skills and ability to develop, engage, and evaluate team members

This is a full-time, direct-hire, W-2 position paying up to $175,000 to $190,000 yearly based on experience and has benefits to include equity in the company. This position works remotely on the West Coast of the USA (MUST live in PST or MST).
