Need Local Candidate(Cincinnati,OH) Position: IT Project Manager Location: MUST be LOCAL to Cincinnati. NO remote or relo candidates will be considered by the client. On site work required. Interviews ? Video Will require on-site weekend work at least once a month to manage migrations. Occasional on-site in office a plus. This is for a backfill. Ideally this candidate will be in the Cincinnati area. If they are slightly outside the area (e.g. Columbus) 5/3 will pay for travel when needed. - IT Project Manager will work as part of the Data Center Migration project team to assist in planning and execution of the migration of production data center. - Candidates must possess strong project management skills and excellent written and verbal communication. - A strong technical background is a plus but not required - Possess above average skills using Microsoft Project and other MS Office products. - Candidates will be primarily remote workers with the ability to travel to 5/3 locations on occasion. - Candidates will be involved in running weekend migrations which will require weekend hours as migrations begin. - Experience in large-scale IT implementations, rollouts or migrations is required. - Data Center background is a strong plus TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have 1. Strong working knowledge of infrastructure technologies and experience managing infrastructure projects 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 3. Strong negotiation (within all levels of organization) and problem-solving skills 4. Ability to mitigate/resolve conflict 5. Self-motivated, takes initiative to resolve issues 6. Strong leadership; ability to build trusting relationships and influence 7. Demonstrates executive presence 8. Proficient use of project management tools and methodologies Nice To Have 1. 5+ Years hands-on experience as release manager or technical project manager 2. A good level of PC knowledge and understanding of computer software and programming 3. Excellent communication and Problem-Solving skills. 4. Understanding Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CI/CD pipelines). 5. Highly motivated, self-directed, team oriented, customer focused, and has the ability to re-engineer business practices. 6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make a defensible decision in a timely manner.
