Job Description:

 

Water Technologies & Solutions is looking for a high energy ERP Platform
leader to work with a fast-paced team to collaboratively develop, execute and
maintain our SAP vision.  The candidate will serve as the platform?s
application design expert.  They will partner with Senior IT and business
leaders to support our global SAP instance. Strong analytical skills,
leadership, and the ability to work with cross functional business and IT teams
are a must.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·       Create and maintain our SAP vision and roadmap

·       Responsible for the strategy, planning and management of activities
to support the SAP Platform.

·       Responsible for the evaluation and implementation of new and
innovative solutions in SAP or best in breed SaaS solutions

·       Drive strategic technology solutions by effectively collaborating
with business leaders to design solutions to meet current and future business
needs

·       Partner with clients to improve business processes

·       Understand complex business requirements & propose elegant
simplified, flexible low code cost effective solutions.

·       Ability to dig into the details and understand domain area in depth
while considering the vision for the landscape

·       Write, analyze and deliver specifications including architecture
drawings, technical specifications, test, and debug to support enterprise
application and reporting.

·       Stay current with enabling technologies and work as a partner to
promote their use.

·       Responsible for reviewing release notes and making recommendations to
keep the WTS platforms current.

·       Collaborate across WTS technology platforms and participate in
enterprise architecture reviews.

·       Accountable for operational excellence of assigned programs including
project reviews, feasibility, prioritization, risk, initiation, execution, and
closure.

·       Create and maintain project plans and organize the coordination of
different technical departments

 

 

Hard Skills:

 

·       10+ years? work experience in SAP product consulting, systems
integration, and application lead roles.

·       Proven SAP experience on large implementation programs

·       Knowledge of SAP?s architecture with expert level understanding of
SAP functional best practices.

·       Deep functional expertise in SAP core modules, it's bolt-ons and
managed applications.

·       Demonstrated skill in Enterprise Development

·       Must be an expert in analyzing, creating system specifications,
developing tests cases and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP
technologies.

·       Must have extensive development experience using ABAP objects, HANA
SQL Programming, SAP Fiori Developments

·       Experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such
as Java connectors and Rest APIs communicating with non-SAP applications.

·       Must have good experience with SAP security concepts

·       Leverage available learning resources to identify best practices that
resonate and support the vision of the organization.

·       Stay current with enabling technologies and work as a partner to
promote their use. 

·       Knowledge of Cloud Computing and SaaS

·       Ability to negotiate priorities and timelines with business
stakeholders

·       Solid understanding of Agile Development Practices and ability to
lead / coach the teams

·       SAP Developer and Administrator Certification

·       S/4HANA certifications: SAP Certified Technology Specialist, SAP
Business Suite to SAP S/4HANA Delta, SAP S/4HANA Programming in Development,
SAP S/4HANA in Administration

 

Soft Skills:

 

·       Leadership, accountability, and ownership are key to the success of
this position

·       Ability to work effectively with stakeholders with competing
priorities, including senior managers and executives.

·       Communication and collaboration among different project team members.

·       Ability to present complex ideas to a broad audience of customers &
stakeholders with varying skill levels, (oral and written communication).

·       Demonstrated presentation skills with the ability to assist others to
gain clear understanding of expected outcomes and knowledge transfer

·       Self-starter, motivated, proactive, well organized, and fast learner

·       Experience in working in different cultures and environments, in a
matrixed organization.

·       Flexibility: adapt and respond to the changing environment. 
Constructively create opportunities for change through active participation

·       Working knowledge of agile & Waterfall methodologies

·       Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the
ability to analyze, resolve problems, and build solutions in a customer-first
environment while maintaining appropriate project documentation.

·       Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members and skill in
building motivated and collaborative teams

·       A Supply Chain and Finance background a plus
