In this key role, the Project Engineer will work as part of the Upgrade Team, working on delivering Upgrade solutions successfully to our customers. Training will be provided, and you will have an opportunity to work with leading-edge technology in blue-chip multinational Food and beverage companies. Upgrades involve working through implementation plans for migrations of Database Data and following the implementation path under the Design and development of Database Interfaces as well as the Design and development of Interfaces with third-party systems. In this role, you will work with an ISO 9001-approved systems engineering methodology in the implementation of solutions in Ireland and overseas. Full training and ongoing support in Orbis application software will be provided. What we are hoping to find in your background Graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields with sufficient IT experience A minimum of 3 years experience as a Project Engineer, working with Databases & SQL Industry knowledge in food and beverage processing would be considered an advantage. Experience in software project delivery for process-oriented environments would also be considered an advantage. You will be required to actively participate in the configuration, testing, and computer system validation of the MES Systems and any other related configuration as required. Database Technical Skills: Strong knowledge and practical experience with SQL databases, T-SQL codes, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers Addition Preferred Skills Programming Technical Skills: Knowledge of a programming language Industry knowledge in either food and beverage or pharmaceutical would be considered an advantage. Version Control: GIT Key Responsibilities Work as part of the Upgrade Delivery Team delivering Upgrade solutions for our customers. Understand Customer processes to ensure Project Deliverables are met. Actively participate in the configuration, testing, and validation of the Upgraded Systems and any other related configuration as required. Under the project plan, follow the project workflow to meet the deadlines set by the Project Lead. Engage with Customers at Project Meetings and follow up on Actions and Issues.
