Proficient working knowledge of quality management systems. 5+ years of experience working with ERP/MRP systems. Manufacturing experience is an asset.   Job Responsibilities Plans, organizes, and evaluates the activities and operations of the quality lab. Responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Writes quality procedures and work instructions. Review quality issues with production. Work with sales representatives or customers when required to gather additional information or advice of quality issues. Provide input on corrective measures to be taken and provide clarification on product requirements when required. Review non-conforming results from lab and disposition. Supervise lab operations and personnel. Responsible for scheduling necessary calibrations (Instron, gauge blocks), creating/modifying Instron test methods and maintaining calibration schedule for in-house calibrations on measuring equipment (calipers, oven, thickness testers etc.).
