Branch Manager
We are seeking a Graphic Design & Content Creator for our head office, located on 130th Street in Surrey, BC.
The Graphic Design & Content Creator will be responsible for designing fun, impactful employee- and customer-centric visual content for all of our digital channels (website, email and social) as well as some print media. The content will include graphics, photos, blog posts, landing pages, emails, signage, printed materials, videos, or any other forms of digital or print media.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital graphic design best practices and a knack for creating engaging content that brings stories to life both online and offline.
Responsibilities
- Design original, inspiring and on-brand customer-centric visual content for our digital channels including but not exclusive to the website, emails and social channels
- Produce landing pages, graphics, logos, social media graphics and banners, static and rich banner ads, video, and email templates.
- Ensure consistency of brand and creative both internally and across all digital customer touch points
- Provide design support to branches to create graphics for events and promotional materials
- Work with Manager of Digital Marketing to create marketing requirements and translate them into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs
- Write, review, edit, and update written content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, etc.
- Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
- Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Other responsibilities as required
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in graphic design or related field
- 2+ years graphic design experience
Competencies
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including the Adobe Suite (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro), Stripo, and other digital publishing tools an asset
- Experience in web design and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Magento)
- Experience with email template design and evolution of email template design through a campaign
- Experience with asset management & naming conventions
- Skilled in interpreting creative briefs and an ability to interpret high-level concepts and strategic goals, visually bringing them to life
- Strong understanding of digital design best practices with a clear point of view as to how design can influence and guide the customer on their journey

- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design
