About the role
Develop and implement new application systems in multiple platforms. Convert multiple systems to a modern architecture such as .NET or .NET Core while implementing best practices for chosen architecture. Coordinate the implementation of applications and system enhancement activities for Dierbergs corporate office, retail stores, and remote facilities. Remain current with technology advances in the areas of development techniques, tools, database, operating systems and mobile technologies.
- Develop technical solutions to moderately complex problems requiring the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
- Small team application development and implementation of new multi-tier and multiplatform computer applications
- Seek opportunities to improve, replace or enhance legacy systems performance or design, so they meet management's decision-making requirements
- Ensure that new and modifications to existing applications are adequately tested and documented
- Create and review system documentation, which includes the development of implementation and rollback procedures
- Assist in the evaluation of programming tools and utilities, as well as assist in the development of programming standards and best practices
- Maintain for the organization the integrity of application source code, and underlying data using of version control systems and procedures
About you

- Extensive T-SQL and OO Development (preferably in C# .NET, SQL Server and Management Studio, Visual Studio 2012/2015/2019
- Test driven development, Agile development processes
- Fluent in multi-tiered design and client server concepts
- Experience integrating multiple systems using varying technologies
- Demonstrated ability to interpret requirements and deliver reliable, scalable, tested solutions
Experience
- 10+ years of system development and design
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or closely related field preferred
