Take on a lead role within our growing IT team as we transform the grocery shopping experience through exciting new technology. We are searching for an IT leader who is energized by the opportunity to lead both people and projects. The Senior Manager, IT PMO will play an integral role in building out the PMO. They must thrive in a changing environment and strive to make an impact as we move the business into the future.

The right person for this role is a strategic, yet hands-on leader who learns quickly, thinks differently, and actively strives to make Dierbergs better. They are curious and innovative, with nimbleness to drive their own individual and their teams' projects while improving overall processes. Building meaningful partnerships, delivering high-quality results, along with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization will make this individual highly successful in this role.

About the role
  • Build strong partnerships throughout the organization, serve as a strategic thought partner influencing project goals and priorities
  • Serve as a link between IT and the business by actively collaborating with stakeholders and senior business leaders to ensure that there is clear and open communication
  • Manage and oversee the PMO function to ensure IT projects are aligned with the overall strategy and organizational goals
  • Responsible for all project commitments, including schedules and budgets, and provide guidance in the completion of tasks and deliverables
  • Monitor and report collective projects' status, drive projects to ensure they are completed with quality, on time, and within budget
  • Perform project management responsibilities on key projects
  • Drive best practices, methodologies, and define PMO standards and policies to provide exceptional internal and external customer experience
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small, but mighty, team of Business Analysts and Project Managers
  • Foster a work environment that embodies the core values of Dierbergs, champion and develop an inclusive team environment
  • Help direct, manage, and hold outside IT vendors accountable to delivering high quality work, on time, and within budget
  • Embrace an agile mindset, utilizing continuous planning to deliver high-quality results
  • Manage the analysis of business requirements with respect to the development and selection of application solution and technologies
  • Provide innovative and workable solutions to a wide range of technical challenges and business opportunities
  • Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and trends that help deliver a modern shopping experience to create seamless, personalized, and value driven customer experiences


About you

  • Proficient?knowledge of project management utilizing an Agile approach
  • Proven ability to manage customer expectations, use feedback to establish priorities and ensure project goals are met
  • Skilled leader who is highly capable of influencing and facilitating change in a cross functional environment through insightful listening, effective communication, and collaboration?
  • Must be a team player and can work with all levels of users and management


Experience
  • Minimum of seven years of business experience in Information Technology with experience in IT project management and/or business analysis is required
  • Minimum of three years of management experience hiring, training and managing performance
  • Strong background?in technology implementations?


Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or closely related field required
