<p>Quality Control Specialist &ndash; Overland Park, KS<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Compensation Range<br /> $35,000 - $42,000 annually (commensurate with experience)<br /> &nbsp;<br /> About the Role<br /> Review HMDA data for accuracy and assist with HMDA audits. Daily research and completion of the data integrity for the HMDA and LAR reporting quarterly reporting. Facilitate correspondence and documentation regarding cancelled, denied, and withdrawn loans. Monitor, tracking and review all cancelled and denied transactions prior to reporting and storage of loans. Confirm all data is entered accurately and upload documents to Encompass. Assist with loan document tracking and provide backup for final documents / trailing documents, purchase advice data entry, and first payment notices as needed. Assist with the lock report maintenance in both an accurate and timely manner. Provide support for Post-Close, Disclosure Desk and Receptionist positions as needed.</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li> <li>6-24 months of mortgage lending experience and/or secondary market experience</li> <li>Must be reliable, detail oriented and a hard-working individual.</li> <li>Must be proficient with computers with Basic to Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li> <li>Some college education</li> <li>One year of experience as a Processor, Shipper, or similar position in the Residential Mortgage Industry</li> <li>Encompass 360 experience</li> </ul>
