<p><strong>Job Title : Lead Java Backend Developer</strong></p> <p><strong>Location : Atlanta, GA</strong></p> <p><strong>Project Duration: Full Time</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>JOB DETAILS</strong></p> <p><strong>Business Objective(s) and Key Project(s) Details:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide assistance to the testing team and support personnel as needed to resolve application issues. Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports.</li> <li>Design and Develop software applications and solutions based on documented business and system requirements. Write, edit, and debug code for assigned projects. Understand how applications operate, are structured, and how customers use them</li> <li>Assist and mentor junior and senior developers on technical patterns and coding challenges. Review designs and code and provide feedback and guidance</li> <li>Take ownership of the delivery schedule and quality of work. Provide input and estimates about the effort required to build desired functionality.</li> <li>Use Test-driven Development (TDD) techniques to specify a detailed, executable design for your solution</li> <li>Design applications for stability, scalability, and performance. Design solutions to problematic programming</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>7 to 9 years of development experience in an high volume, SAAS platforms</li> <li>Minimum 3-5 years working in an Agile development environment (Scrum or Kanban preferred) as a technical lead or manager</li> <li>Strong in the server and databases layers.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Must have</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Agile software development methodology</li> <li>Unit Testing methods and techniques</li> <li>Test-driven Development (TDD)</li> <li>Core Java 8+, Oracle/PostgreSQL Database, Jenkins, Git,</li> <li>Required knowledge of Microservices architecture</li> <li>Expertise in design patterns and common architectures</li> <li>Experience with cloud based application development and microservices architectures</li> </ul> <p><strong>Like to have</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Typescript/JavaScript, Angular 7+, C#, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL</li> <li>Behavior-driven Development (BDD)</li> <li>Android/iOS experience</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
