<p>TITLE: Enterprise Data Modeler Application Services Digital &amp; Analytics<br /> Location: New Brunswick, NJ<br /> Contract - Long Term<br /> Visa: H1B, GC or Citizen<br /> <br /> The Data Modeler will play a key role in building a critical capability in innovation, forecasting, supply chain planning, modeling, and analyzing all volume and data supporting J&amp;J Consumer Digital Core Team. The individual will be joining a team of developers in the iterative design of a business solution using the Agile methodology. &nbsp;<br /> The role will help ensure that the models built are as per business requirements, scalable, flexible, and meeting enterprise standards. Modeler will also work on creating user stories, capturing metadata, creating mapping documents and building Erwin conceptual, logical and physical data models. In addition, the role also will support expanding models already in use by understanding the new features requested by internal and external partners to enable further data enrichment and reporting.&nbsp;<br /> Modeler will liaise with clients, data users and key stakeholders to translate the business process requirements to support inbound and outbound data integrations.<br /> <br /> The candidate will also be required to have a deep familiarity with the following technologies and its application to business solutions: Erwin, Hadoop, Hive, Impala, SQL, Linux, Azure. &nbsp;Candidates experienced with Supply Chain will be given preference.<br /> <br /> Candidate&rsquo;s must be able to show past experience in the following areas<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to function as part of a big team&nbsp;<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Big picture orientation with strong attention to detail&nbsp;<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Collaboration skills and the ability to build strong win/win relationships with partners<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Results and performance driven attitude with strong sense of accountability and drive to get results&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Required Skills/Experience<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Excellent verbal and written communications.<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with Scrum and an Agile Development environment is required.&nbsp;<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Strong working knowledge of tools like Erwin and Metadata Mapping techniques are required.<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;5+ years of experience in area of Data Modeling/Management, Automation, and Business Analytics<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;5+ years in direct experience with designing, modeling and deploying multi-dimensional systems<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with Linux, including command-line and Bash scripting, is preferred.<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with SQL, Hadoop, Hive and Impala is required. &nbsp;<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with table storage and optimizing performance on Data Lake&nbsp;<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc . is required.<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Hands-on experience with end-end solution delivery of Data &amp; Analytics applications involving structured and un-structured data on Hadoop based platforms, such as Cloudera and AWS EMR, is essential.&nbsp;<br /> &bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Proven ability to work with project managers and stakeholders to help refine and capture software requirements in an iterative fashion.
