<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p> <p><strong>Role: Senior Business Analyst</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: Minneapolis, MN</strong></p> <p><strong>Duration: 6+ Months</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Summary</strong></p> <p>The Senior Business Analyst (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions) serves as a liaison between business owners and IT teams regarding requirements and functionality for both new development and existing production systems, including production support activities. This position will include project management responsibilities for some work efforts. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated leadership and process improvement attributes.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work with IT development team and other departments to gather requirements for development of applications and projects.</li> <li>Gathering, documenting and communicating business requirements to business and technical resources.</li> <li>Responsible for translating business requirements into technical requirements</li> <li>Gain sufficient understanding of various IT applications to translate business requirements into functional design specifications</li> <li>Serve as a conduit of information on IT infrastructure, capabilities, limitations, systems to other departments</li> <li>Promote and champion internal communication between IT, and other functional groups</li> <li>Lead Academic and Corporate Systems BA efforts, driving best practices into work products throughout the lifecycle of a project.</li> <li>Participate in trainings for offshore QA team.</li> <li>Adhere to industry best practices through ongoing research, benchmarking, professional organizations, and conferences.</li> <li>Take a leadership role in process improvement initiatives</li> <li>Proactively assume responsibility for improving processes and procedures</li> <li>Organize current project and maintenance activities while anticipating future/strategic needs</li> <li>Lead and mentor junior level BA staff</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>5 years minimum work experience in a business analyst capacity with demonstrated strong performance.</li> <li>Bachelor&#39;s degree preferred or commensurate work experience</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with ERP applications (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions)</li> <li>Excellent problem solving skills &ndash; able to focus both on the big picture and finite details.</li> <li>Attention to detail.</li> <li>Ability to deliver results in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.</li> </ul>
