<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Position Overview: The claims analyst will comply with and support claims workflows, procedures, and best practices. They will work closely with the claims team to provide the highest level of quality control, efficiency, and claims and client service to positively impact company growth, profitability, and industry reputation. Job Functions:<br /> <br /> ? Claim Acknowledgement ? analyst will confirm submission and provide claims contact to insured, producer, and other necessary parties.<br /> ? Review all new claims that are submitted and monitor activity on open claims including, but not limited to, the establishment of diary dates, reserve reviews, tasks, file notes, claim resolution, etc.<br /> ? Analyst will utilize systems, such as ImageRight. WWE, and Majesco, create tasks and update activities in a timely manner.<br /> ? Provide claim status and coverage evaluation on claims, as needed.<br /> ? Draft coverage position letters.<br /> ? Analyst will review and consult with the Property Supervisor if additional experts are needed for assignment.<br /> ? Review the entire claim file to ultimately determine claim resolution and process loss payments.<br /> ? Promptly respond to inquiries from insureds, brokers, and other internal communication.<br /> ? Timely review and process of all vendor bills for each claim.<br /> ? Work on special projects and perform miscellaneous duties as required of position.<br /> <br /> Job Requirements:<br /> ? General knowledge and experience in analyzing coverage and drafting coverage position letters.<br /> ? General knowledge of accounting principles to estimate inventory losses and business interruption.<br /> ? Negotiate claims with the insured or the public adjuster. ? Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.<br /> ? Ability to work closely with insured, brokers or other KBIC departments to help resolve issues.<br /> ? Follow property procedures and guidelines. Education, Qualification and Skills<br /> ? 3-4 years&rsquo; work experience in first party property claims preferred.<br /> ? Knowledge of Windows, Excel and Outlook.<br /> ? Experience with ImageRight (not required)<br /> ? Excellent analytical skills<br /> ? Excellent negotiation skills<br /> ? Strong written and oral communication skills<br /> ? Ability to solve diverse problems<br /> ? Detail oriented and independent</p>
