<p>Our client is currently seeking a Web Designer/Developer!<br /> <br /> On a daily basis, the Web Developer is responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, and enhancing the organizations website, landing pages, and email marketing initiatives, as well as creating visual elements aligned with company branding.<br /> The Web Designer/Developer collaborates closely with the marketing team to ensure successful implementation.<br /> <br /> General Summary of the Role: A key function of the Web Designer/Developer role is create the look, layout, and features of digital content for the company&rsquo;s website(s) to landing pages to email campaigns and execute the designs with optimal coding.<br /> It is critical for candidates to have an excellent understanding of graphic design, UI/UX design, responsive/mobile designs and front-end coding. The designer will be expected to apply best design principles, UI/UX practices and current trends to their work.<br /> <br /> Successful candidates for this role are:<br /> &bull; Passionate about web design and development<br /> &bull; Eager to learn and grow professionally; highly coachable<br /> &bull; Timely, organized and detail-oriented<br /> &bull; Honest and trustworthy Responsibilities and Key Areas of Accountability:<br /> &bull; Create website designs and/or enhancements and modifications based on the marketing team&#39;s goals and objectives.<br /> &bull; Developing HTML/CSS/JavaScript code to build new website pages, landing pages, emails, and CMS templates, as well as enhancing and/or refreshing existing assets.<br /> &bull; Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes.<br /> &bull; Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.<br /> &bull; Ensure that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design (responsive web design).<br /> &bull; Demonstrate and continue developing a high level of technical expertise including, but not limited to, new coding techniques and front-end development practices.<br /> &bull; Maintain thorough knowledge of all software used and stay informed of current and emerging web technologies and products through continuing education, reading, and practice.<br /> &bull; Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.<br /> <br /> Requirements:<br /> <br /> &bull; Bachelor&#39;s degree in Visual/Web/UX Design, or similar or have design experience with an agency or client-side creative team.<br /> &bull; 3-5 years of related job experience, agency or client-side.<br /> &bull; Proficiency in standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc.<br /> &bull; Proficiency in and a high-level understanding of front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.<br /> &bull; Excellent understanding of web and mobile standards, including responsive design and usability.<br /> &bull; High-level understanding of content management systems.<br /> &bull; Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.<br /> &bull; Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously<br /> &bull; Excellent visual design skills.<br /> &bull; Creative and open to new ideas.<br /> &bull; Ability to analyze and solve problems.<br /> &bull; Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.<br /> &bull; Ability to evaluate new and evolving website technologies.<br /> &bull; A portfolio of previous work must be presented during the interview process</p>
